About Healthy Wisconsin People

Healthy Wisconsin People was created through a joint project of the Northern Wisconsin Area Health Education Center and the Southwest Wisconsin Area Health Education Center, funded by Grant 2G08 LM06492-04 and Grant 1G07LM0749-02 from the National Library of Medicine.

Healthy Wisconsin People Workgroup

The AHEC librarians currently make up the Healthy Wisconsin People Workgroup. The Web sites linked to are carefully chosen using our selection policy.

AHEC Librarians are:

Mark Scully is current project director of NLM grant, Informed Caring. He brings 30 years of library and information services experience to his current position with NAHEC. During his 28 years of U.S. Government service, he held a series of leadership and policy positions, including director of the Federal Depository Library Program at the Government Printing Office. Mark holds a BA degree from Rutgers University, an MLS from University of Maryland, and an MPA from The American University in Washington, DC. From 1990 through 1998 he served as an instructor in the graduate School of Information Studies at the University of Maryland.

Diana Robertson is the Knowledge Management Consultant for the Northern Wisconsin Area Health Education Center (NAHEC). She has been a librarian for over 20 years working in medical and law librarianship. She received her Masters of Library and Information Science from the University of Western Ontario in 1996. She has presented at numerous Medical Library Assocation conferences and at the National AHEC Workshop, 2002 in Little Rock, Arkansas. She has been searching on the Internet and training people to search since 1994.
